June was a very exciting month with many firsts. Amanda and I shared our 13th anniversary on June 9th, but that was somewhat overshadowed by Ben’s first birthday on June 11th. With a birthday came his 12 month check-up. Ben weighed in at 24 pounds and 2 ounces and measured 31 inches long. We celebrated his birthday on June 14th with close friends and family. Ben is pulling up now and taking “shuffle” steps while holding on to something. He gets into anything and everything and Amanda and I joke that wherever Ben goes he leaves a path of destruction. I had a wonderful Father’s Day; Ben gave me a framed picture of myself and him that I proudly have hanging in my office.

How wonderful! We’ve enjoyed the whole show. What a great format and terrific music. Ben is such a handsome, happy boy. I love his little funny faces that turn in to such long, sweet smiles. Looks like he had a wonderful birthday, surrounded by so many folks that love him so much. We love you all, too. Hope to see you soon.

Talk about blinking, Sarah and Cody will be 16 and 12 in 3 months. I’ll have a teen driver on my hands. Oh no!
